Abstract

This is an award notice for an an awarded contract and not a request for EOI. The Contracting Authority currently anticipated its requirements as being a hosted and managed digital dictation service that includes the technical infrastructure, application and service management. The contracting authority explored with tenders the possible solutions available. This involved tenders being asked to demonstrate trial solutions during the stage of dialogue within a number of clinical and corporate sites to enable the contracting authority to shape its requirements. The solution was expected to include digital dictation to replace analogue tape devices, voice recognition technology, workflow technology, android smartphone application to support mobile working and automated distribution of transcribed documents and other related benefits which tenderes may be able to offer. The solution meet the contracting authority's needs from time to time and ensured full compatibility with contracting authority's other ICT products and systems.
