Abstract

Bedfordshire Police, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Constabularies require mechanical and electrical maintenance and servicing, which will included planned preventive maintenance, reactive and call out. Specialist Optional Lots include Fire Alarm System Maintenance, Generator Maintenance, Pressurised Vessels and Systems Maintenance, Chilled Water Systems Maintenance, Sewage pumps and ejector systems Maintenance and Lift Maintenance.

The framework is for Planned Preventative (Mechanical and Electrical) Maintenance on a 24 hours a day basis, 365 days a year (366 in a leap year), to meet the requirements of the three Police Force Estates and Facilities. This may include Reactive and Call-out requirements. The intention is to award the work to one to three contractors who can act as a secondary contractor for each force. Mini competitions may be held for values over GBP 5,000 where there the most economical advantageous tender based on the information provided cannot be decided and response times will be time is of the essence.
