Den Europæiske Banktilsynsmyndighed (EBA) og Den Europæiske Tilsynsmyndighed for Forsikrings- og Arbejdsmarkedspensionsordninger (EIOPA) indgik kontrakter i 2012 om it-infrastrukturtjenester og projekter med den økonomiske aktør, til hvem kontrakten er blevet tildelt. Tjenesteydelserne omfattede følgende: styret datacenterkapacitet, it-netværkslager- og serverkapacitet, telekommunikationssystemer, internetsystemer, fjernadgangsløsninger, projekter på it-infrastrukturområdet. Kontrahenten er ansvarlig for implementering, vedligeholdelse, support og drift af EBA's og EIOPA's it-systemer i systemets fulde livscyklus i et redundant og styret eksternt datacenter. Formålet med denne bekendtgørelse er at offentliggøre tildelingen af en forhøjelse af det finansielle loft for EBA-kontrakten.
