As part of the National Cyber Security Programme, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) requires the design and delivery of a cyber security SME Bootcamp programme to help support the growth of the sector. The intervention will develop activity to support cyber security firms, across early stages of their lifecycle (first 5 years) with the essential businesses skills that they need to further their growth.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Government has committed to doubling its investment in cyber security to £1.9bn over the next 5 years. As part of this and through the National Cyber Security Programme, DCMS have developed a series of initiatives to boost the UK sector and help support the development of the cyber security ecosystem. This specific intervention is a requirement for a Cyber Security SME Bootcamp programme, which will develop local activity to provide cyber security firms with the business knowledge and skills that they need to help further their progress. The procurement is for a supplier/consortium to develop and deliver the initiative.
