Abstract

The Department for Culture, Media and Sport is seeking a recruitment provider, suitably experienced in Cyber Security recruitment, in order to fulfil the requirement to recruit apprentices into the cyber security profession for the target sectors.

This invitation to tender is for services to:

—Deliver end-to-end recruitment, including assessment, associated marketing to potential applicants and on-boarding of the cyber security apprentices.

The apprentices will be recruited to be employed in the energy and transport sectors, and will be trained under the Cyber Security Level 4 Apprenticeship Standards — Cyber Security Technologist (including both Cyber Security Technologist and Cyber Risk Analyst specialisms) and Cyber Intrusion Analyst, as set out in the published standards and accompanying Occupational Briefs and Assessment Plans.

This will be for the first phase of recruitment, with further phases potentially delivering for employers in other critical sectors and under other cyber security Apprenticeship standards as they become available.

The scope of the services being tendered covers recruitment of individuals to take up cyber security apprenticeships with employers in target sectors, initially energy and transport, including delivering a rigorous assessment to ensure high calibre candidates. As the service required is to deliver end-to-end recruitment, also included will be associated marketing required to attract applicants, and on-boarding of successful applicants.

Delivery will be required in phases, with one or more cohorts of apprentices throughout the years of the contract. In subsequent years these and further standards may be relevant, as further cyber security standards are developed. Further critical sectors may also be included in subsequent years.
