The aim of the patient and public engagement service is to enable the CCG to move beyond engagement. We were seeking for a provider with expertise in community engagement to support the CCG to build meaningful and effective engagement platforms through which it engages patients, the third sector and the traditionally ignored. These platforms should function to enable the CCG to put patients and the public at the centre of how local NHS services are designed, commissioned and monitored.
