North of England Commissioning Support working for, and on behalf of, NHS Newcastle Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside and Sunderland Clinical Commissioning Groups (the CCGs), wish to commission a Patient Transport Booking Service covering the CCGs geographical areas.
The provider will book patient transportation to non-urgent, pre-arranged appointments (subject to assessing eligibility criteria,) via the North East Ambulance Service online booking system.
The service will operate between 9:00-5:00 pm Monday-Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).

The Contracting Authorities will act in accordance with Part 3 Chapter 5 Regulation 85 to 87 and Regulation 95 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (SI 2015 No.:102) (PCR 2015). Part 3 of the PCR 2015 provides for appeals to be made to the High Court subject to the time limitations and other required procedural steps.
