The Thomas Adams School is a co-educational comprehensive state school catering for 11-18 years old in and around the Shropshire market town of Wem The tender is for the provision of catering services to the Thomas Adams School. This will include catering services to the main school site, Adams Sixth Form and Adams Boarding House. In tendering the catering service, the school is looking for quality food provision for its day pupils, staff and boarding students.

Tenderers are invited to submit proposals to provide as a minimum a cost negative catering service. The school has in recent years benefited from a profit return of circa 250 000 GBP. It is important that there is a mechanism for a financial return to the school in future years. The school is seeking a partnership to continue to maximise the opportunity of the catering facilities within the school and to further enhance the dining experience for both staff and students which would benefit from investment to update the current facilities.
