Birmingham Airport has a requirement for the supply of anti-icing products to for utilisation in the winter period to ensure the Airfield remains operational. This requirement is specific to certain weather conditions applying which causes the effect of rain freeze. In the winter of 2017/18 approximately 15 000 litres were utilised. This requirement is obviously dependant upon weather conditions.
