VI.3) Additional information
All call-off Contracts will be subject to further competition. The Contracting Authority considers this DPS to be suitable for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) as well as larger economic operators. Equal opportunity will be provided for all economic providers qualifying for the DPS and the geographical requirements of the call-off contract. All bidders will be required to complete a list of post code areas they are able to demonstrate they can operate in. This DPS will be available for use by all public spending bodies such as:
— housing providers,
— local authorities,
— UK Gov departments,
— educational establishments,
— national health service providers,
— emergency service establishments,
— defence and justice establishments, that are members (current and future) of one of the collaboration consortia which are currently: westworks, Efficiency East Midlands, South East Consortium, Advantage South West.
More consortia may join collaboration and this will be published on the westworks website. For the avoidance of doubt, westworks will offer access to this DPS to any appropriate body including the categories mentioned above as well as those such as:
— social enterprises,
— community land trusts,
— registered charities,
— not-for profit organisations.
Where these are not Contracting Authorities as described in the regulations westworks will allow access providing it does not contravene the regulations (EU or UK). This DPS will also be made available to organisations not mentioned above but in receipt of European or other grant funding. A link to all collaboration consortia may be found on the westworks website.
