II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) are seeking a tenderer to build on the existing study programme support offer.
The objectives of this work are to:
1) Deliver a chargeable programme of support to a minimum of 22 providers, which allows providers to:
(a) plan and implement enhanced work placement and/or social action opportunities and/or other non-qualification activity as part of study programmes; and
(b) improve the promotion and integration of maths and English skill development through work placement and/or social action programmes and/or other non-qualification activity;
2) Develop at least 30 resources that support study programme provision and build on the existing suite of materials, including:
(a) resources that map job roles to maths and English skills, linked to Functional Skills and GCSE qualifications;
(b) resources that enhance the chargeable programme support outlined above.
3) Hold at least 2 meetings of the study programmes focus group.
The support offered through this project should be relevant to 16-19 study programmes at all levels (i.e. level 3, level 2 and below level 2). Whilst the support being offered through this project is specifically for 16-19 study programmes, we expect tenderers to be aware of the context in which they are working and ensure that the support and resources offered are futureproofed, in particular with regard to the development of T Levels and the new proposed education inspection framework.
