Bidders should note that whilst the value of the framework agreement has been estimated at 2 534054,54 GBP over the maximum framework agreement period, Forestry and Land Scotland reserves the right to modify the framework agreement — irrespective of the monetary value of modifications - within the scope permitted under Regulation 72(1) of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015, should operational reasons require it.
Operational reasons for modification may include, but are not limited to:
— a change to a supply location,
— a change to a point of delivery,
— a change to Forestry and Land Scotland’s delivered-in, in-wood or forest to pier requirements,
— a requirement for Low Ground Pressure vehicle configurations on Forestry and Land Scotland’s restricted road network; or
Additional unforeseeable requirements relating to the haulage of small roundwood timber.
