Supply and Maintenance of Waste Shredder

Description of the goods or services required

In order to undertake its businesses effectively and efficiently, CWM Environmental wishes to purchase a new self-propelled (tracked), slow speed, multi-purpose shredder to effectively shred a wide range of materials (wood, green waste, general bulky waste) to the industry requirement of 300mm.

To ensure business continuity, the shredder must be accompanied by a full Warranty of 12 months or 2000 operating hours (whichever is later), full repairs and maintenance coverage (Co-terminus with the Warranty). Additionally, the requirement of the supplier to visit the delivery site at 3-month intervals during the first 12 months of operation to perform maintenance checks and adjustments to the plant.

CWM Environmental will also require training for employed operators and engineers on the safe operation and setting adjustment to the plant at the delivery site.

3. Responding to the tender
