Abstract

The role of the broker is to act on behalf of Humberside Police, in particular to action the following:

(i) provide written confirmation to the client it has obtained authorisation from the FCA and or as required under s19 of the financial services and Markets Act 2000;

(ii) supply the contract services to the client in accordance with the provisions of the contract;

(iii) comply with all reasonable instructions given to the broker and its staff by the client in relation to the contract services from time to time, including reasonable instructions to reschedule or alter the contract services;

(iv) immediately report to the client’s representative any matters which involve or could potentially involve a conflict of interest;

(v) co-operate with the client and the client’s other professional advisers in relation to the contract services as required by the client; and

(vi) comply with the client’s internal policies in each case as notified to the supplier in writing by the client and procedures and Government and FCA codes and practices in force from time to time (including policies, procedures, codes and practices relating to staff vetting, security, equality and diversity, confidentiality undertakings and sustainability) and in each case notified to the supplier in writing by the client.
