Public Health England provides a next generation sequencing (NGS) service for users within the PHE network. The high throughput nature of the work (greater than 50 000 sample/year) requires a large investment in automated processes that can interphase with our LIMS systems. PHE seeks to procure a new robotics walk-away platform for provision of its NGS service. The current workflow performs all procedures from sample dilutions, enzymatic library preparation (LP) and pooling of libraries. The robotics being offered must support ISO15189: 2012 under which PHE is operating. The procured system must be able to perform the current workflow (Illumina Nextera XT or Nextera Flex LP) appropriately and be able to be modified for future developments as and when laboratory requirements.
This is a tender for Colindale central sequencing laboratory only.
