Please note that the authority is publishing this notice on a voluntary basis, the contract will be entered into in the name of TRP Trading Company Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the authority. TRP Trading Company Limited is not a ‘Contracting authority’ for the purposes of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (‘PCR 2015’) and/or the Concession Contracts Regulations 2016 (‘CCR 2016’), and TRP contends that neither the CCR 2016 nor the PCR 2015 apply to this procurement exercise. TRP Trading Company Ltd is not a body governed by public law.
Notwithstanding TRP's position that neither the CCR 2016 nor the PCR 2015 apply (see above), TRP publishes this notice to record its intension to enter into a contract for the operation and management of the Hyde Park Music Festival (HPMF) for a 6-year period commencing in 2022.
