VII.2) Information about modifications
VII.2.1) Description of the modifications
Due to the circumstances of Covid-19, the Contract payment mechanism provisions are not currently workable. Current Covid-19 relief provided under the Letters from the Buyer to the Supplier dated 7 May 2020 and 28 August 2020 will come to an end on 31 October 2020. A variation to the payment mechanism is required to be implemented with effect from 1 November 2020 so that the Contract remains operable and in order to ensure continuity of the existing education services. The revised payment mechanism shall take effect from 1 November 2020 and shall operate until Covid-19 related disruption has ended.
Schedule C12 (Charges) Temporary introduction of a cost plus based pricing mechanism, with reversion to the original payment mechanism once Covid-19 disruption has ended. To note this does not vary the maximum contract value.
Schedule C3 (Innovation) Variation to the Supplier's obligations in relation to the Continuous Improvement Plan during the period of Covid-19 disruption.
Schedule C10 (Service Levels): Application of new Service Levels based on the Exceptional Teacher Quality Management Plan (Exceptional TQMP) during the period of Covid-19 disruption.
Schedule C11 (Contract Management): Variation to the process for producing the annual Delivery Plan during the period of Covid-19 disruption.
