Cefndir Gwefan a sefydlwyd gan Lywodraeth Cymru i fod yn gartref ar gyfer adnoddau Dysgu Cymraeg i oedolion yw Y Bont (ybont.org). Yn sgil datblygu platfform digidol dysgucymraeg.cymru i fod yn gartref ar gyfer yr holl adnoddau dysgu Cymraeg, a phroblemau hygyrchedd gyda gwefan Y Bont, penderfynwyd na fydd Y Bont ar gael y tu hwn i’r flwyddyn academaidd bresennol (2020-21). Y Comisiwn Mae’r Ganolfan am gomisiynu darparwr dysgu Cymraeg neu unigolyn profiadol i fynd trwy’r adnoddau ar Y Bont a phenderfynu a ydyn nhw’n adnoddau y dylid eu cadw.
