The works involve the construction of a new shared cycle/footway links on Marl Lane & Marl Drive (Llandudno Junction), and comprise primarily of general site preparation, civil works, paving, kerbing, lighting, landscaping and installation of street furniture.

Total quantity or scope of tender

The scheme is split across 3 locations across Llandudno Junction.

Location 1 involves the creation of a new multi user path from Troed y Bwlch, through the playing field to a new crossing point of Pentywyn Road. From here the path will cross over the main road and continue along the edge of a large grassed area where one leg will continue down Marl Lane whilst the other leg will continue down Albert Drive. The work here will provide better interchange links between various directions of travel and provide access to a future housing development.

Location 2 is located at the junction of Marl Lane and Victoria Drive, the works involve improving the existing footpath on Marl Lane and creating a new link to the existing bus stop located on Victoria Drive.

Location 3 is situated on a narrow section of Marl Drive, the work here involves creating a raised table and construct a ramp/stairs between existing footpaths.
