The runway de-icer fluid must be minimum 50 % potassium formate content, qualified to SAE AMS 1435 version C or later; and granulated runway de-icing solid must be minimum 97 % granulated sodium acetate or sodium formate and qualified to SAE AMS 1431 version C or later.
