In April 2021 NHS Hampshire, Southampton and Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group was created, bringing together six clinical commissioning groups - West Hampshire, Southampton City and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Partnership of CCGs (which enabled closer joint working between Fareham and Gosport, South Eastern Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and North Hampshire CCGs).
Further to this, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care System (ICS) will form as a statutory health and care body from April 2022, a partnership made up of a wider group of organisations that will bring together partners to develop overarching plans across health, social care and public health to improve population health and reduce inequalities between different groups.
