NWUPC is looking to create a new Framework Agreement for Building Maintenance and Repairs. NWUPC has published this PIN to engage with the market. It is aimed that this project will be regionally lotted across the North West of England, Midlands, North Wales and Northern Ireland for a range of services within the Building Maintenance and Repairs area. These may include Air Filters Fit and Maintenance, Asbestos Removal and Consultancy, Civil Engineering, Electrical Contractors, General Building Maintenance, Joinery, Painting and Decorating, Plumbing and Heating, Windows and Glass. Please note it is planned that these lots are to be separate, therefore Suppliers do not need to be able to cover every service or regional location. The North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium (NWUPC) is a not for profit
organisation owned by its Full members consisting of 24 Universities. Our mission is to
deliver value through responsible procurement.
NWUPC set up and contract manage Framework Agreements in ten Category areas.
Framework Agreements are established to ensure compliance with UK Procurement
Regulations which cover Public Sector contracts over a certain threshold value.
NWUPC is looking to create a new Framework Agreement to the Estates category for Building Maintenance and Repairs. NWUPC have published this PIN to engage with the market to gather further information and to support the strategy of this new agreement. A requirement for a regional Framework Agreement covering the scope of Building Maintenance and Repairs has been identified to meet the needs of NWUPC Members within the North West of England, Midlands, North Wales and Northern Ireland.
It is aimed that this project will be regionally lotted for a range of services within the Building Maintenance and Repairs area.
