II.1.4) Short description
Southend City Council are seeking to engage experienced and appropriately qualified organisations for the provision of servicing, repair and maintenance of Platform Lifts (Lot 1) and passenger lifts (Lot 2) in Public Buildings and Schools within the City of Southend-on-Sea. The required service will comprise of scheduled routine maintenance and responsive call outs and repairs. The term of the contracts is 3 years with an option to extend for up to a further 2 years beginning on 1st April 2023.
This procurement has been divided down into the following Lots:
Lot 1 will include the servicing and maintenance of Platform lifts to Public Buildings and Schools within the City of Southend-on-Sea under a JCT Measured Term Contract 2016 Edition. The Council are seeking to appoint one service provider for this Lot however, tenderers may apply for more than one Lot.
Lot 2 will include a fully comprehensive servicing and maintenance provision for Hydraulic and Traction Passenger Lifts in Public Buildings within the City of Southend-on-Sea under a JCT Measured Term Contract 2016 Edition. The Council are seeking to appoint one service provider for this Lot however, tenderers may apply for more than one Lot.
