Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is developing a new 24 hour short-term supported accommodation scheme to be based at Marsh House, Georgetown, Merthyr Tydfil (formerly Glayrafon Care Home).
The supported accommodation service will be funded through the Welsh Government Housing Support Grant Programme.

Total quantity or scope of tender
The service will provide 22 units of short term supported accommodation, staffed 24 hours, for homeless people aged 18+ with low to medium housing related support needs in the County Borough of Merthyr Tydfil.
The accommodation will consist of 22 x units of accommodation (which each include a shower room plus space for basic food prep), communal spaces, outdoor spaces, and a multi-use ‘hub’ area for use by organisations working to support service users residing at Marsh House (and other service users with Housing Support needs).
