Wigan Council invites submission of expressions of interest for the Civic Centre Development Main Restoration Works by completing and returning the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) Document available for the Chest Portal (please see link in this document to the advertisement on the Chest.
A minimum of 5 organisations (if available) will be shortlisted following evaluation of the PPQ's.
Work is scheduled to start in May 2024 and completion is required by March 2025.

Proposed Works
The main works to which this tender relates are applicable to Phase 1 only. The works include:
•Full window and external door replacement, including the introduction of curtain walling to areas on the lower ground floor
•Extension of the lift in the central core to provide step free access to roof level
•Formation of a bridge link between ground and first floor as part of a feature to the entrance area
•External concrete repair works
•Extensive landscaping along the Millgate elevation, along with the provision of a roof terrace and balustrade
•Steam cleaning and repainting of elevations
•Full internal fit out to all areas including café/bar, gym, mini-cini and office suites. Fit out to include partitions, full M&E installation and decoration.
