II.1.4) Short description
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) is looking to appoint a competent provider to deliver a Social Care and Health Policy MSc.<br/><br/>The Social Care and Health Policy MSc provides a MSc-level qualification for policy professionals to build on current skills and improve policy making in DHSC. This will improve the quality of DHSC policy by embracing new policy changes and linking to public services, thus reducing ineffective policy making, improving quality of policy and meeting operational targets at the same time.<br/><br/>Contract Project Reference: C178511<br/><br/>Intended contract term: 5 years (3 cohorts) with the option to extend for up to a further 3 years (up to an additional 3 cohorts) in periods of 12 months.<br/><br/>The contract value will vary depending on the number of students selected to participate. The minimum is £647,500.00 which is for 60 students (10 students per cohort, per location (Leeds and London), for 3 cohorts).<br/><br/>The maximum is £1,207,750.00 which is for 120 students (40 students per cohort for 3 cohorts).<br/><br/>Each figure has had £10k added to cover development costs.<br/>The maximum possible total value of the core requirements of the contract including all three extensions is £2,680,000.<br/><br/>Optional Services:<br/><br/>The maximum budget for Optional Services as outlined in paragraph 20 of this specification document will be £150,000.00 during the contract period including extension periods. The Optional Services are dependant in internal approvals and will be at the sole discretion of the Authority.<br/><br/>The opportunity will be available on the DHSC Atamis eTendering System.
