Abstract

This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued to gather information from the marketplace relative to potential procurement options related to the creation of a Data Science Platform / Environment, inclusive of associated tools that will enable data scientists to load and transform data easily, collaborate and share code with each other, ensure consistency in tooling and versions, provide enough compute to execute required operations, and ultimately deploy, monitor and adapt models in production.

The intention of issuing this document is to facilitate constructive and meaningful dialogue which will be beneficial to all involved and enable the Police Scotland’s Chief Data Office to reach a better understanding of the capabilities and challenges in the marketplace relating to the subject area prior to any potential future procurement exercise.
