Wirral Council are currently considering options for the future design and procurement of their approach for, leadership and co-ordination across the Community, Voluntary and Faith Sector with a view to commencing the proposed new service/s on 1st May 2024.
As a part of this process, the commissioners of this service are keen to capture provider experience, skills, knowledge and concerns at an early point to ensure these can be fully considered throughout the service and procurement design phases.
A consistent, evidence-based, and practical approach will be developed to ensure that Wirral based Community, Voluntary and Faith sector organisations have effective leadership and are equipped with the support and skills to participate in the delivery of the Wirral Plan, Wirral Health and Wellbeing Strategy and the newly-emerging place-based priorities including the developing neighbourhoods programme.

Prior to commencing any formal public procurement process the Council wish to engage
with interested providers and undertake a soft market exercise.
The over-all arching aim of the soft market exercise is to establish and understand
the market appetite for the service and brief suppliers on the service required by the Council
providing an opportunity to seek feedback.
Providers with experience of delivering these types of services are invited to complete a
questionnaire concerning the opportunity; kindly register your expression of interest via our
