Run-off Mitigation Scheme - Timber Revetment and Coir Log Bund for Slate Quarry Spoil Heap

Description of the goods or services required

This described scheme is a pilot study to divert surface run-off from flowing through the Glanrafon Quarry spoil heap, using timber revetment and coir log bunds.

Total quantity or scope of tender

Supply and install 110m (25 x) coir erosion bunds to manage water run off above the spoil heaps.

Supply and install a total of 110m of timber revetments using wooden

boards/logs around the base of the quarry spoil heap to divert run-off from going into the spoil heap, and to aid stability.
