Contract Award Statement: The intention is to award the contract to Health Services Laboratories following the direct award process A under the Provider Selection Regime.<br/><br/>Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust Microbiology Department specialised testing and referrals, must be undertaken by a recognised accredited laboratory to ensure that the testing is carried out to the highest standards of quality and accuracy.<br/><br/>Additionally, assurance of testing competence and referral turn around time is essential to enable, rapid diagnosis and management of infectious and genetic diseases.<br/><br/>Micropathology Limited is the sole provider for Nottingham University NHS Trusts Microbiology specialist testing referral work.
