Abstract

Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) is looking to engage with the market to better understand potential options for a potential Scaffolding Contract. The scope of work may include, but not be limited to the following:- Hire of scaffolding materials- Design of scaffolding- Supply of scaffolding- Construction of scaffolding- Dismantling of scaffoldingWCBC’s aim is to appoint suitably qualified and experienced contractors to provide a comprehensive scaffolding service across the entirety of Wrexham County Borough. Scaffolding will be procured for a variety of tasks including carrying out maintenance to residential buildings and blocks. It is likely that the focus of the Contract will be on the WCBC’s residential estate, although its commercial estate will likely be covered by the proposed contract. Currently WCBC is responsible for over 11,000 residential properties and over 300 commercial properties, including schools, corporate offices and libraries.
