Engagement process description
We would like to invite cleaning services providers to join us for a supplier engagement day before we go out to tender. It’s a chance to meet the three parties, the University of South Wales, Merthyr Tydfil College and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, see what we’re looking for, and give us your views and feedback.
It will take place on Monday 23 November 2026, 10:00–12:30, at the Conference Centre, USW Treforest Campus, Llantwit Road, Pontypridd CF37 1DL. From 10:30 each party will give a short presentation on its estate. From 11:15 the floor is open: each party will have a table where you can meet the people who will be managing the contract and ask about their sites, and our Procurement team will be on hand to talk through the intended process. It’s a good opportunity to meet the buyers and do some networking.
We’re keen to hear whether you’d be interested in bidding, what might get in the way, and what you’d like us to consider.
To register, please email sarah.bull@southwales.ac.uk by 18 November 2026 with your organisation name and who will be attending. If you can’t make it, you’re welcome to send written questions to the same address until 27 November 2026.
Everyone is welcome, and you don’t need to attend to bid later. Anything shared on the day will be made available to all suppliers with the tender documents.
