The areas where Emergency Lighting replacements have been assessed and identified by the Estates Teams after a feasibility exercise was carried out, are Princess of Wales (POW), Dewi Sant Health Park (DSHP), and Ysbyty George Thomas (YGT) Hospitals.

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is planning to undertake and complete a programme of Emergency Lighting replacements across Wards and Departments that have been recognised as requiring upgrades. The tender was processed as a mini competition under the NHS Shared Business Services (SBS) Healthcare Planning, Construction Consultancy and Ancillary Services (HPCCAS) Framework Lot 7, conducted in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations (PCR) 2015. The mini competition was open for 4 weeks. 37 suppliers were invited, 4 declined to respond, and 1 submitted a bid. The evaluation process included Pass/Fail Qualification stage, Commercial stage with a 60% weighting, and Technical stage with a 40% weighting.
