Abstract
Transport for London (TfL) requires the provision of a marine fuel supply and delivery service to support the operation of the Woolwich Ferry. The service includes the supply and delivery of marine fuel by barge and road tanker to vessels operating from the North and South Woolwich terminals.The requirement includes the safe, reliable, and compliant delivery of fuel, together with associated documentation, reporting, and operational support necessary to maintain continuity of ferry operations. Deliveries must be carried out in accordance with applicable legislation, industry standards, Port of London Authority (PLA) requirements, Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) requirements, and TfL policies and procedures, including environmental protection and pollution prevention obligations.The Woolwich Ferry operates as a daily cross-river transport service, and the requirement is intended to ensure an ongoing and dependable fuel supply to meet operational demand throughout the contract term.
