We have a greater audience to reach with our extension in this 2014 Programme year of our target to include 15 year olds and therefore the media budget allocation needs to be optimised. We need proven creativity and natural intuition for youth culture, from our chosen content production agency. We need to connect with this audience and through that connection inspire them to raise awareness for us by sharing our brand in their online and offline worlds. There will be 4 strategic objectives around which content plans will be crafted: 1)Inspiration – content that feels of and inspires the social movement that is NCS; 2) brand equity – content that is entertainment in its own right; 3) brand affinity – content that brings to life passion point activations and/or partnerships with ambassadors; 4) brand awareness – stories from graduates of NCS including the NCS Leaders Team and a variety of influencers that will speak to young people as distinct from teachers and then parents/guardians; 5) brand recruitment – short edits of content about the programme for young people/parent/guardians for promotion through our website and crm programme both of which will aim to convert awareness into an Expression of Interest (‘EOIs'). In addition we will deploy channel strategies that will require different approaches/edits/considerations when creating any one piece of content to ensure its relevancy and efficacy by pre-agreed amplification channels. We need content that is nationally representative but incredibly relevant locally to be embraced by our 8 regional providers and their delivery partners across our 19 regions in England and NI.
