The National Trust wishes to appoint an external contractor to construct a new car park and associated works on newly acquired National Trust land at Rhossili in Gower.

This project seeks to provide an improved car park layout using the design specification provided by the Landscape Architects.

The National Trust wishes to seek expressions of interest from appropriately qualified and experienced construction contractors, able to provide the services required.

Total quantity or scope of tender

Tenders are expected to be in the region of £315,000.

The car park at Rhossili requires significant improvement to traffic flow and surfacing at the site, to improve the drainage system to ensure it is suitable to withstand severe weather and improve the visitor arrival and experience.

Minimum standards and qualification required

Participating organisations must complete the SQuID questions (pre-qualification). The National Trust will evaluate SQuID responses and accompanying information, and then prepare an appropriate short list of organisations who will be invited to submit fee proposals for the project.
