The UK Space Agency has a requirement to procure technical support to ensure that the working level technical activities of the space standards bodies; Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS), Inter-Operability Advisory Group (IOAG) and European Ground System — Common Core (EGS-CC) are supported.
In order to fulfil this requirement UK Shared Business Services (UK SBS) acting on behalf of The The UK Space Agency, plan to divide the requirements in to 3 lots, specific to the Space Standards Bodies' particular requirements.
Bidders can apply for 1 lot, or more than 1 lot.
Lot 1: Technical Support — Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS)
Technical support will be carried out in a co-ordination and sometimes advisory function, but one at a very technical level that demands key competences — technical knowledge, organisational or individual qualifications in space engineering, operations, and applications themselves. Providers of this technical support are required to be suitably objective and independent from financial involvement in the markets covered by the relevant standards.
All submissions will be assessed in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, for procurement values that exceed Regulation 5 (Threshold amounts). This procurement will be managed electronically via the Crown Commercial Service's e-Sourcing Suite. To participate in this procurement, participants shall first be registered on the e-Sourcing Suite.
