Menter Mon will appoint a consultant to support it in the proposed development of a tidal array project in the Morlais Demonstration Zone off the coast of Anglesey which engagement will require services that will include providing advice and deliverables with respect to:

1.Grid design, connections and construction

2.Specification of procurement briefs

3.Monitoring and marshalling Morlais relationship with SPEN and the National Grid

4.Securing clarity on CUSC, TNUOS, DNO and use of line charges

5.Financial analyses in support of the business plan

6.Assessment of change impact in the project management timeline

7.To assist the SRO and Project Manager in implementing aspects of work which require elements of research and development which have few precedents

To Pre-Qualify for the tender process, tenderer organisations must have:

1.Track record of developing full scale renewable energy projects from conception to implementation

2.A thorough understanding of HV safety rules in relation to DNO and NGT, preferably with previous hands on 'senior authorised person/safety controller' responsibilities.

3.A thorough understanding of grid network engineering and practice in both distribution and transmission

4.A thorough and experienced understanding of substation technology, cabling infrastructure and civil works associated

5.Track record of marshalling successful grid connectivity in renewable technologies

6.Experience and evidence of successfully delivering to time, cost and quality, complex technical programmes and projects
