The Authority requires a Supplier who can provide surgical instrument decontamination and sterilisation services to Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust (OHFT) across the Podiatry Service, Outpatient Clinics and Maternity Services.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Authority requires a Supplier who can provide surgical instrument decontamination and sterilisation services to Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust (OHFT) across the following service areas:
— Podiatry Service of Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.
— Outpatient Clinics used by Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust (OUHT) hosted by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.
— Maternity Services used by Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust (OUHT) hosted by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.
The Service will include the instrument decontamination and sterilisation service provision of the following packs and single items:
— General instruments and packs.
— Soft packs.
— Podiatry packs, instruments and consumables.
— Supplementary consumables.
The Service will include a delivery and collection service from and to the South Central Ambulance Service at the Churchill Hospital, Old Road, Headington, Oxford, OX3 7LE which should be regarded for the purposes of this contract as the central delivery and collection point.
All orders are to be completed and returned on a 48 hours basis, except at weekends and bank holidays where orders will be returned on the next working day.

There is an option to extend a further 2 years beyond the initial prime term. The decision to extend the contract into Year 4 would be reviewed 3-6 months before the end of the prime term and for Year 5, the contract would also be reviewed 3-6 months before the end of a Year 4 extension.
