The Replacement & Enhancement of Building Engineering Services at Plas Newydd, Anglesey.

Description of the goods or services required

The national Trust's Request for Information (RFI) sets out the Trust’s situation and objectives in respect of the Replacement of Building Engineering Services at Plas Newydd, and seeks initial information from a range of suppliers as to their, capacity, capability and relevant experience. It is anticipated that the project will use the JCT 2016 without quantities, without BIM and with Contractor’s Design form of contract. Further details on the Opportunity can be found in Part 2 – Situation and target outcomes.

Participating Suppliers will bear their own costs, and seek appropriate advice, for the preparation of their response.

Budget:

The budget estimate for the planned re-servicing work currently has a Target Construction Cost of £2 million excluding VAT and asbestos clearance.

Timescales:

The programme of re-servicing work is expected to be carried out over 19 months of continuous working, and will be achieved via sectional completion of approximately (5) five sections.
