Abstract

Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust (SRFT) on behalf of The Northern Care Alliance is looking to approach the market to procure a digital control centre solution.

Building on this, SRFT is looking to the future of healthcare and wants to establish a Digital Control Centre, bringing the latest advances in data analytics and digital health to achieve a world-leading organisation which has operational excellence, the best quality healthcare and patient experience across the entire organisation which also includes social care.

The Northern Care Alliance comprises the contracting authorities of Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and Pennine Acute NHS Trust. It is expected that Salford will enter into the contract with the successful provider initially and thereafter the contract will permit Pennine to take advantage of the services being procured under this notice. The procurement covers all services provided by both Trusts and the coverage of this notice extends to any reorganisation of the 2 Trusts (whether joint or single), any statutory succession or reorganisation or any similar changes so that any such changes have been contemplated by this procurement process and will not constitute a substantial modification of the contract under Directive 2014/24/EU and the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
