II.2.4) Description of the procurement
NHS Merton Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver a therapeutic counselling service for children and young people. The service will provide early intervention and support for emotional disorders and self-harm, being commissioned to deliver the Government targets set out in future in mind and the 5 year forward view for mental health, including an early help service for emotional disorders and self-harm at a “Getting Help” level in Merton. A local service will be established to build on the pilot work undertaken in 2016/17 and 2017/18 as part of CAMHS transformation in Merton, with the aim to commission an evidence-based, community-based service for young people aged 11-18 years, to provide counselling and therapy for emotional disorders and self-harm.
