WMHG seek to appoint suitably experienced and qualified agencies to join a Framework Agreement for the provision of Temporary Agency staff. The provision will be in Lots based on the location and the various areas of supporting resources required. In essence our in house Direct Labour Organisation HomeWorks utilise various trades to support the provision of highly reactive maintenance and cleaning services to our properties in Coventry, Birmingham and Worcestershire. Successful candidates will best be able to demonstrate their ability to meet or exceed our requirements as well as having a track record in the provision of maintenance staff who are familiar with working in and around occupied properties.

The successful framework provider must be able to demonstrate an ability to attract, adequately vet, verify, and present, a number of qualified persons in order to fulfil any temporary or permanent vacancies offered by the WM Housing Group within their maintenance teams. We are keen to hear from companies that can demonstrate a loyal pool of prospective employees, those with an appetite for providing mutually beneficial outcomes for our customers, or those that have been successful in the placement of diverse groups within the social housing sector. In particular, a provider must be prepared to offer the following: Demonstrate the successful placement of candidates in one or more of the trades / specialisms listed, within the social housing sector. Present a transparent fee structure to prospective candidates, as well as to WM, so WM know the true cost of any placement and prospective employees have an accurate sense of the remuneration they are likely to receive; An online solution allowing the viewing of CV’s through to the approval of time sheets or be prepared to have one operational in time for the commencement of the contract; Be willing to work in partnership with WM in the pursuit of improving the employment opportunities for our customers as well as increasing the proportion of women within our repairs and maintenance section; A single point of contact between WM and the company If you wish to express an interest in this project please ensure you are registered and logged into our Portal. WMHG will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day Standstill Period following electronic notification (minimum of 15 calendar days for any other means of communication) to unsuccessful applicants of the award decision. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the Contracting Authority before the contract is entered into. If an appeal regarding the award of contract has not been successfully resolved, the Public Contracts Regulations provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or at risk of harm by breach of the Rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland). Any such action must be brought within 30 days of the aggrieved party having knowledge of the breach.
