Explanation
VEAT Notice TEDB8-OGC/2019-516903
Origin software is proprietary to Capita and consequently Capita are the only supplier capable of providing the required ongoing support and maintenance for the origin system together with additional licences, upgrades and the implementation required to ensure the origin system continues to meet the critical business needs of the police forces whilst the police forces can assess their long term requirements. The PCC has therefore sought to put in place a contract for the minimum term available to them in order to allow time to review future options.
