Abstract

Connected is seeking to procure a contractor framework, to include 1 lot (Lot 1) for projects 4 500 000 GBP up to 12 000 000 GBP in value during their upcoming 4 year development programme.

The value of this Framework is c. 300 000 000 GBP. c. 200 000 000 GBP of this value will be attributed to connected's projects and c. 100 000 000 GBP to additional framework users (specifically, but not limited to, the L12 as noted in Section VI.3) Additional information).

Connected (comprising Octavia Housing, Origin Housing and Shepherd's Bush Housing Group) wish to establish a 2 lot contractor framework for their upcoming 4-year development programme. The estimated value of this framework is 300 000 000 GBP (c. 200 000 000 GBP of this value will be attributed to connected's projects and c.100 000 000 GBP to additional framework users (see VI.3)).

Connected focuses primarily on new build accommodation for private rent, private sale, intermediate, shared ownership and affordable rent through both connected-led and Section 106 schemes. They also deliver regeneration schemes. Connected produce new homes using a variety of procurement routes including works contracts, development agreements and joint ventures.

Suppliers can only apply to 1 lot on this framework.

Octavia Housing work with Harrow Churches Housing Association to collaboratively secure development grants.

Connected has identified the L12 as a potential framework user with estimated requirements of c. 50 units per annum. The L12 are a group of medium sized community housing associations that operate in London including Connected (Octavia Housing, Origin Housing and Shepherds Bush Housing Association), ISHA, Lookahead, Hexagon, Newon, Pheonix, Wandle, Gateway, Croydon Churches and Richmond Housing Partners.

In addition, connected will grant access to the framework to registered providers (as listed on the Gov.UK Website: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/current-registered-providers-of-social-housing), local authorities and ALMO’s who operate in North and West London and the home counties.
