This is an award notice and this opportunity is now closed. Hertfordshire County Council (the ‘Council’) went out to procurement for the provision of three database management systems for Hertfordshire Community Protection. The requirement was divided in to three lots:
— Lot 1: Fire Protection,
— Lot 2: Fire Prevention,
— Lot 3: Trading Standards.
Lots 1 and 2 only were awarded. Lot 3 was not awarded. The contract for Lots 1 and 2 was awarded for an initial term of 3 years with the option to extend for up to a further 2 years.

Hertfordshire County Council Fire and Rescue, Fire Protection (FP) Department are responsible for governing fire safety law, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (often known as the Fire Safety Order). The FP department required an IT solution to record, maintain and report the work of their teams’ activities.
