Abstract

The Environment Agency is looking to procure services to update the London Basin Groundwater Model. Initially, created to assess the rebound/recovery of depressed groundwater levels in the Central London area, the London Basin Model (LBM) was developed more than 20 years ago. Over the years and since the initial development, model updates resulted in the use of model increasing, with the LBM now being used as a vital assessment tool, when making decisions on how to manage groundwater resources in the most sustainable way possible.
