Description of the goods or services required
In 2019 Monmouthshire County Council moved its Tourism, Leisure, Culture and Youth Services to a new service group 'MonLife'. This new service group has taken on management of the significant and wide-ranging heritage assets including countryside sites, buildings and collections in our care.
This has allowed us the opportunity to see how we can work together, across all our heritage sites and services, to improve our overall visitor experience and tell Monmouthshire's story.
Over a series of workshops we have developed our aims, objectives and core themes for the MonLife Heritage Service resulting in a definitive mission, vision and overarching goals. We now have defined our target audiences and the outcomes we would like to achieve.
However, we require assistance in development a data capture framework in order to measure how well we are doing and whether we are being successful. We would like to work with a consultant to develop a bespoke approach to our work and situation, and not use an off the shelf product. We require assistance to achieve the following outcomes:
- The best way to capture data – given restrictions around Covid and our capacity (which is unlikely to change in the short to medium term)
- How we develop a combined approach across all services to data capture (including communications) so that we are all not asking the same person a number of questionnaires
- Advice on whether we are seeking the right data to capture – is it the data that will give us our answers
- Frequency of data collection and sample sizes to be able to make meaningful decisions on the back of our research
- Advice on how to capture data from those that don’t visit, again in the constraints we have in capacity
