Robot Offline Programming, Monitoring and Control SystemThe University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a Robot Offline Programming, Monitoring and Control System on behalf of the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, South Yorkshire.The Nuclear AMRC has a requirement for the capability to measure the accuracy of multiple targets simultaneously on a multiple degree of freedom robot mounted on a gantry system. We require a system to improve robot path accuracy by measure and correct methodology, stream data such as robot positions to an external system for Digital twin activities, and a method to visualise robot path accuracy by comparison of programmed paths versus actual

The contracting authority will incorporate a minimum 10 day standstill period at the point information on the award of contract is communicated to tenderers. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek a further debriefing before the contract is entered into.
