To deliver suitable and high-quality independent travel training to children and young people with special educational needs, physical disability or behavioural emotional social difficulties in ‘real time’ journeys.
To deliver enrichment/group work sessions in mainstream schools to raise awareness of SEN, stranger danger while travelling, how to make a safe and successful journey, development of peer mentoring schemes between specialise provision and mainstream schools etc.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The contractor will deliver independent travel training to children and young people with special educational needs, physical disability or behavioural emotional social difficulties within the following target groups:
• College students (16+ provision)
• High school pupils attending designated Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Physical Difficulties and Hearing Impairment units
• High school pupils attending Emotional Pupil Referral Units (E-PRU) & Pupil Referral Units (PRU)
• Year 6 mainstream pupils transferring to a special high school provision.
• Overall group range from age 10 to age 25 in full time education
A minimum of 15 to 20 young people to be trained each academic year
